A great start to our adventure. Had a lovely lunch in the Christchurch lounge below after being taxied to the airport by a driver in a suit and tie, would you believe! The seats on the flight to Sydney were so comfy - huge, leather, like a big lazy boy and they do go flat like a bed . Perfect for me and worth every cent. The flight staff are fantastic and the food lovely. We could get used to this. Great big tv screens and much bigger windows to watch the sky go by. The flight is turning out to be just as big an event as the actual holiday.
We must look very dodgy because I got the explosive sniffer treatment at Christchurch and Bryan was sniffed in Sydney. Currently in the Sydney lounge passing time until we board the long flight to Dubai.
Now... let's see if we can manage a photo. :-) Bugger! Looks like I deleted the photo of the Christchurch lounge. So here instead is a photo of Bryan in the not so posh Sydney Emirates lounge.
